Santa Rosa Academy celebrates volleyball championship

The Santa Rosa Academy girls varsity volleyball team won their home game against the California Military Institute Oct. 19 as they celebrated their senior players and won the South Valley League Championship.

After honoring their seniors in a pregame ceremony, the Rangers went out and beat CMI in three straight. They improved their league record to 9-1, 21-3-1 overall.

During the first match, the Santa Rosa girls come out on top with their outside hitter, Megan Harris, spiking the ball to finish off a 25-10 win. In the second match, the Santa Rosa girls held their own again, The making the score 25-20.

The Rangers finished off the match by winning the third game, 25-17.
