Probation sweep results in six arrests on drug charges

Six people were arrested on a variety of drug and probation charges during a series of probation compliance checks throughout Menifee, police said.

The Sheriff's Department's Menifee Special Enforcement Team conducted the operations on Friday, according to a news release. Five males and one female were arrested and booked at the Cois Byrd Detention Center. Their names and charges:


-- Frank Cruz Aguirre, 34, of Wildomar – possession of heroin and possession of methamphetamine.

-- Antonio Dercole, 42, of Menifee – possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and violation of probation.

-- Chelci Lorraine Nelson, 22, of Canyon Lake – four felony warrants for drug sales, auto theft, and firearm charges.

-- Eric Kirk Oliver-McKechnie, 49, of Menifee – possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and violation of probation.

-- Joseph Quintana, 36, of Menifee – possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

-- Robert Anthony Sanchez, 35, of Perris – two misdemeanor drug warrants.
