Heritage High School Athletes of the Week: Oct. 19

Menifee 24/7 is pleased to honor outstanding athletes at area high schools. Each coach of a sport in season is allowed to select one athlete per week as Athlete of the Week. Here are this week's honorees from Heritage High School:

Rashoud Shelton caught two touchdown passes in the football team's 41-13 victory over Elsinore last Friday, helping the Patriots improve their overall record to 6-1.

Andrea Serrato of the girls tennis team has had an outstanding year, both as "a scholar and an athlete," said coach Monty McIntosh.

Golfer Kayla Vinson shot a team-best 47 in a match at Summerly last week.
