Santa Rosa Freedom Run, Car Show a huge success

Santa Rosa Academy hosted its 2nd Annual Freedom Run Sept. 16. With a large amount of contestants for the Run, all of the visitors, and more than 40 vendors and dozens of activities, the event was a huge success.

Some activities at the event were a living tide pool, an engineering workshop, a jail, and a firetruck with real firemen to teach children what to do in emergency situations. They also had "hands only" CPR classes. A few vendors from the event were Juice It Up!, Smile 951, RE/MAX, and even Mt. San Jacinto College.

The car show, with over 20 enrolled cars, was extremely entertaining for the participants. It featured many different cars, such as an International Harvester tow truck, a Ford Galaxie 500, a Mustang GT Coupe, a Ford Bel Air, and a Ford Deluxe Business Coupe.
