Brandon Wallkamm recently received a plaque of acknowledgement from the Menifee Union School District Board for achieving perfect attendance from kindergarten through eighth grade.
Brandon was honored during the school board meeting Sept. 12. Superintendent Dr. Steve Kennedy and board president Bob O'Donnell made the presentation. Brandon is now a student at Paloma Valley High School, taking courses in his chosen field of mechanical engineering, some of which can be applied as college credits.
As a student at Menifee Valley Middle School, Brandon was on the Principal's List and Honor Roll. He received the 2016-17 Special Eagle Award plaque presented by the school's STEM Department.
When he was told about receiving the recognition at the board meeting, Brandon asked, "Will I have to miss class to go to this meeting?"
