Donations are being collected at Santa Rosa Academy to send to Texas to help victims of Hurricane Harvey. |
Santa Rosa Academy has extended its deadline for donations for victims of Hurricane Harvey in Texas until 3 p.m. today. Items may be dropped off in front of the school, located at 25787 La Piedra Road. Here is the latest information, sent via email from the school to parents:
Dear Families,
Thank you for your tremendous generosity! We just received a phone call to help 6 families with infants on dialysis. All were all flown in by Black Hawk helicopters to Texas Children's Hospital in the last two days. The hospital wants to help get these families into apartments or homes nearby so they can care for the children. If you have not already done so, can you please consider donating any of the following NEW items:
sheets for all size beds
pillows
blankets
kitchen items
set of plates
drinking cups
silverware
shower curtains
new towels
toiletries
We will continue to take donations through 3 p.m. Friday.
Thank you for your help!
Laura Badillo
Executive Director
