Santa Rosa sweeps Redlands Adventist in girls volleyball

Adjusting to the new coach, Steve Jones, the Santa Rosa Academy girls varsity volleyball team won their first match of the 2017 season against Redlands Adventist Academy on Tuesday at Santa Rosa Academy.

During the first game, the Rangers held their own against Redlands. Santa Rosa was up 24-11 with Lauren Zinter serving. Megan Harris got the last hit, winning the game, 25-11.

As the match continued into the second game, Santa Rosa led, 10-9. Later, Nadia Martinez served the final point and SRA won the game, 25-15.

In the final game, Zinter won serve again, giving the Rangers their 24th point. Abbey Hebert served the final point of their 25-14 victory.
