Menifee Valley Little League registration Aug. 19 at new park

Menifee Valley Little League will accept registration for its fall season and will conduct a free clinic for all registered baseball players Aug. 19 during Opening Day of Lago Vista Sports Park, located on Holland Road east of Menifee Road.

Sign-ups for boys and girls baseball for players ages 4-14 will take place on Field 2, the middle field on the new sports complex, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Player clinics for registered players will take place at the following times:



Ages 4-6: 11 a.m. to noon
Ages 7-10: Noon to 1 p.m.
Ages 11-14: 1-2 p.m.

Registration fees are based on a player's league age and not their division of play. Registration rates:

T-ball, Coach Pitch & Machine Pitch (4-6 year olds): $50
AA & AAA (7-10 year-olds): $65
Intermediate & Juniors (11-14 year-olds): $75

Parents of two or more children playing are eligible for a sibling discount of $10 for the second child and any additional children. Registration may be paid by cash or check.

MVLL also includes the District 28 Challenger Division for children and adults with special needs. Members of the Challenger Program will play a game at 10 a.m. Registration in that program is free.
