Menifee 24/7 introduces city events calendar

Today we introduce the newest feature on the Menifee 24/7 website -- an events calendar.

This calendar, built using the Google Calendar feature, is intended to be a comprehensive list of events taking place in Menifee. It will include City Council meetings, school board meetings, club activities, special events put on by local groups, and more.

We have filled the calendar with just a few events so far, including some that have been submitted to us by readers. We welcome you to send us submissions for the calendar by emailing menifee247info@gmail.com and including the date, time, location and any other pertinent information. Our editors will evaluate each submission and include as many newsworthy events as we can.

To find the calendar, which will be updated daily, go to the top of the menifee247.com website to the list of quick tabs under the Menifee 24/7 heading. On the far right, click on Calendar. When it pops up on your screen, click on the headline "Menifee 24/7 Calendar" and you're there. You may view the calendar by week, by month, or use the "agenda" tab, which displays all events in chronological order.

Clicking on an individual listing will show you the address and any other pertinent information included. You can toggle back and forth between months as well.
