Contest rules for the 'Find Menifee Max' game

We invite our readers to play the new "Find Menifee Max" game on our Facebook page.

This game is a spinoff of the old Menifee Max game, where Max picked one person from among all comments received to award a prize. In this game, Menifee Max is hiding behind one square in a 24-square grid. As readers who comment on a Facebook Live feed are called upon, they make guesses until someone uncovers Menifee Max and wins a prize from one of our sponsors.

"FIND MENIFEE MAX" CONTEST RULES

The grid has 24 squares and only one has Menifee Max behind it. The person who guesses correctly wins a prize from one of our sponsors.

If you want to play, leave a comment on the Facebook thread – only one comment per person. We will select the next player from among the comments. Do NOT guess a number unless we call on you. That could make you ineligible to play that day.

If we call your name, leave another comment with the number of the square you would like to guess. We will then reveal that square. If Max is there, you win the prize. If the square is blank, we will call another name and will continue to do so until we have a winner.

The winner will then be asked to send a private message to our Facebook page with his or her address and we will mail out the prize.

Anyone using profanity or displaying any inappropriate behavior will be banned from our site.
