Annual fundraiser supports Hospice of Valleys

Hospice of the Valleys, which provides hospice care to terminally ill patients and families in Southwest Riverside County, will host its annual fundraiser, "Wine and Chocolate", Sept. 23 from 5:30-10:30 p.m. at Avensole Winery in Temecula.

Guests will help raise funds for services and supplies not paid for by patients' insurance, such as weekly support groups, bereavement counseling, medication delivery, incontinence supplies and longer patient visits.

Theme of this year's event is "Havana Nights", featuring Latin music by Ruben V. and the Latin Sounds. There will be tastings of appetizers, beer, wine, cocktails and desserts, along with a seated dinner. Live and silent auctions will also take place.
