Victims in apparent murder-suicide in Nuevo identified

The County Coroner's Office today released the identity of a man and woman found dead June 7 in Nuevo in what police are investigating as a murder-suicide.

Roger Jackson, 57, and Cheri Jackson, 58, were found dead of gunshot wounds when Sheriff's deputies arrived in response to a call of suspicious circumstances in the 30700 block of Debbie Lane about 4:02 p.m. Investigators responding to the scene determined that based upon evidence, it appears the case is a murder-suicide.
