Richard Davies wins Photo of Month award for May

Congratulations to Richard Davies, who won the Photo of the Month award for May in our "Menifee in Pictures" contest.

Davies' winning photo is of a hawk in flight over the Cherry Hills Golf Course one day just before sunset. Davies was patient and waited for just the right moment to capture the bird in flight with a 300mm lens.

Davies wins a gift card to Merna's Cafe and Grill. His photo will be displayed as the cover photo on the Menifee 24/7 Facebook page throughout the month of June.

"Menifee in Pictures" is a regular feature on Menifee 24/7. Readers are invited to contribute photos for publication. Please include your full name on the submission and any explanation about where and when the photo was taken.
