U.S Air Force Airman Kenneth Hartley of Menifee recently graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland Texas.
Training involves an intensive eight-week program that includes military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills. Completion of basic training also earns four credits toward an Associate’s Degree through the Community College of the Air Force. Hartley earned the PT award of Thunderbolt while in Basic Training.
Hartley is the son of David and Lynne Martin. He graduated from Paloma Valley High School in 2016. Recently he moved to Spokane, Washington, where he joined the Air Force. He is at Sheppard Air Force Base in Texas to complete his technical training before reporting to his duty station.
