DUI checkpoint nets stolen vehicle, 8 DUI suspects

Eight suspects were arrested on DUI charges and 17 drivers were cited or arrested for driving without a license or with a suspended license during a DUI checkpoint conducted by Sheriff's deputies in Menifee on Saturday night, authorities said.

The checkpoint was conducted at Scott Road and Breighton Wood Street between 8 p.m. and 2 a.m., according to a news release. In addition, Napoleon Lockett, 36, of Moreno Valley (below) was found to be driving a stolen vehicle and without a driver's license. He was booked at Southwest Detention Center.
