Menifee man arrested for possession of stolen vehicle

Sheriff's deputies arrested a Menifee man on suspicion of being in possession of a stolen vehicle in the city on Friday, authorities said.

Joshua Hoopingarner, 32, who found to be in possession of a Ford Econoline van parked in the 23000 block of Newport Road about 2:55 p.m. The van had been reported stolen out of Lake Elsinore. Hoopingarner was booked at Southwest Detention Center for possession of a stolen vehicle.
