In league meets, she won both hurdles races against Perris, then she won the 300-meter hurdles and placed second in the 100 hurdles in a meet against Paloma Valley.
Giannone qualified for the CIF prelims, which will be held Saturday at Trabuco Hills. She has won the Menifee 24/7 Athlete of the Week award numerous times over the last two years.
