Raising Cane's, Kahoots coming to Menifee Lakes Plaza

The developer of the Menifee Lakes Plaza, being constructed on the northwest corner of Newport Road and Antelope Road, has announced agreements with two more tenants, the City of Menifee announced.

Raising Cane's, which specializes in high quality chicken finger meals, will open its sixth California location and first in Riverside County in the plaza. Raising Cane's opened its first store in 1996 in Louisiana and now has more than 300 restaurants in 22 states.

"By Raising Cane's choosing Menifee to be their first location in Riverside to showcase their concept, it is a testament of Menifee's strong regional pull," said Mayor Neil Winter.

The other new tenant is Kahoots, a popular feed and pet store that also has successful businesses in Murrieta and Temecula.

These businesses join LA Fitness, Barons Market, Cafe Rio, Jamba Juice and a Chevron service station as tenants in the 150,000-square-foot plaza. Motorists passing by on Newport Road or Interstate 215 will see the 38,000-square-foot LA Fitness facility under construction at the north end of the center.

Menifee Lakes Plaza will include a 12-pump Chevron gas station with convenience store, car wash and lube center.
