MSJC presents Women's Empowerment Day event

Mt. San Jacinto College will be holding a Women's Empowerment Day event on March 30 from 11 a.m.- 2 p.m. at Room 927 of the Menifee Valley Campus, 28237 La Piedra Rd. in Menifee.

This free public event, which is sponsored by the MSJC Diversity Committee, Riverside Area Rape Crisis Center (RARCC), Southwest Center Against Sexual Assault (CASA), and the MSJC Judicial Affairs Office, will celebrate the accomplishments of several local successful women who will be talking about how they overcame obstacles and succeeded.

Speakers will tell their stories about overcoming adversity and succeeding, followed by a panel discussion where students and the public can ask questions. There will also be representatives from several local women’s groups in attendance to provide additional information.
