A Menifee man was arrested Feb. 24 after Sheriff's deputies discovered illegal drugs during the search of a local residence, authorities said.

Chase Ohl, 32, was booked at the Southwest Detention Center, where he remains in custody on $100,000 bail, according to a news release. Deputies were serving a search warrant at a residence in the 26000 block of Bradshaw Drive in Menifee when they located about 2 1/2 ounces of methamphetamine.
