The March edition of the Menifee 24/7 monthly newspaper is now available at locations across town and is packed with both the best of our online content plus print exclusive stories. Some of the highlights of this issue:
-- An in-depth interview with interim city manager Ron Bradley about his priorities in helping to build stability at City Hall and find the best possible full-time replacement.
-- A look back at the progression of Newport Road as the main traffic artery through the city, from its days as a two-lane road to the recently completed eight-lane freeway bridge and interchange.
-- Editor Doug Spoon's column about the need for Menifee residents to do their part in deterring crime in the city.
-- An interview with the president of Regent Properties with an update on the status of the planned Menifee Town Center, which will include a theater and many other amenities.
-- News updates from the Menifee Union School District.
-- A look back at the McCall family, after whom one of Menifee's major streets is named.
-- Highlights of local high school sports and coverage of Little League Opening Day.
-- And much more!
The Menifee 24/7 newspaper has been very well received in its first seven months and the free paper often is "sold out" at local restaurants, City Hall and other locations. We are busy stocking delivery points (listed under the "Print Edition" tab on our website) with extra copies and we are expanding free home delivery to entire neighborhoods. We welcome your feedback and thank you for your support.
