Plans for a 332-acre project that would include up to 1,123 housing units in northeast Menifee will be considered by the Menifee Planning Commission during a March 8 workshop in which the public is invited to provide input.
The Fleming Ranch project is proposed on a site bordered by Encanto Drive on the west, Rouse Road on the north and Chambers Avenue on the south, extending east toward Menifee Valley Medical Center. Lots would range from 6,500 square feet to 3,005 square feet and the project would include 19.2 acres of public open space and parks, 12 acres of private open space and 19.5 acres of commercial pads.
The Planning Commission is not scheduled to take action at this meeting. After receiving public input at this meeting, the project will be scheduled for a public hearing before the commission and City Council at a future time.
