Representatives of area businesses, local and regional officials and many others interacted with students at Paloma Valley High School in the school's annual College and Career Day on Feb. 8.
More than 100 people set up booths in the gym and discussed career options with the students, according to Resa Rosenstein, work experience program coordinator at the school. In addition to professionals in the medical, technical, engineering, automotive and communication fields, students visited displays set up by KGGI iHeart Radio, CityByApp, San Francisco start-up Slack, Citizenet.com, local colleges and more.
Also in attendance were Menifee Mayor Neil Winter and City Council members Lesa Sobek and John Denver, plus representatives of the offices of Senator Mike Morrell and Assemblywoman Melissa Melendez.
