Sheriff's deputies searching for Sun City robbery suspect

A man who authorities said robbed a business in the Sun City community in Menifee Saturday morning fled and is being sought by deputies, according to a Sheriff's Department spokesman.

The robbery was reported at 9:30 a.m. in the 27300 block of Sun City Boulevard, the west side of the Cherry Hills Plaza, according to Deputy Armando Munoz. He did not give the name of the business, which the suspect reportedly entered and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Deputies do not know if the suspect is armed. No other details are available at this time.
