Menifee Lakes Plaza plans evolve with new businesses

Additions of new businesses recently committed to the Menifee Lakes Plaza have resulted in a revised plot map for the commercial center, which is scheduled to open this spring at the northwest corner of Newport Road and Antelope Road.

We have enhanced the map provided by the City of Menifee with colored designations of the businesses committed so far. Several other sites within the center are still open for occupancy. The major tenants announced so far are a Barons Market, LA Fitness gym and Cafe Rio restaurant. There also are plans for a hotel at the far north corner of the 150,000-square-foot center.

There will be three entrances to the center, all off of Antelope Road. A traffic study on the impact on the area is part of the process, recognizing that the nearly completed Newport Road bridge over Interstate 215 will help with traffic flow.

This revised plot plan will be presented to the Menifee Planning Commission for approval before moving on to the City Council. You may click on the map to enlarge or print it.
