Heritage High School Athletes of the Week: Jan. 29

Each week, Menifee 24/7 honors top student-athletes at Heritage High School. The coach of each varsity sport is allowed to select one athlete based on the previous week's performances or on potential shown by the athlete. Here are this week's honorees from Heritage High School:

Junior Cecilia Cabrera led a defense that shut out Temescal Canyon and held Paloma Valley to two goals for the girls soccer team.

One of the boys soccer team's top players is Nathan Ramirez Rodriguez. "He is a very strong right back defender and stopper," said his coach, Timothy Poseley. "He has already committed to Southern Vermont College for soccer."

Two members of the wrestling team were also honored. Curtis Craigmyle and Isabel Camarillo have had standout seasons so far.
