Menifee is growing fast with many new families that are choosing to call our community their home. Our great local schools contribute to the demand for homes here in Menifee – maintaining strong property values for all of us.
With that growth in our community comes increased pressure on our schools to accommodate our growing enrollment. We need to build more schools to relieve overcrowding, ensuring that our elementary and middle schools can continue to provide top-quality education.
By voting Yes on Measure Q, we can maintain the exceptional education that our children deserve. This measure will build a new middle school and two new elementary schools to help our schools keep up with growth. Measure Q will also ensure that our schools remain among the best in the County by making priority repairs, like fixing roofs, plumbing and electrical systems, to Menifee Valley Middle School and our other existing schools.
Best of all, Measure Q includes strict fiscal accountability provisions that ensure every penny is spent to benefit Menifee kids. An independent citizens’ oversight committee and annual audits provide transparency. By law, no funds can be taken by the State or spent in other districts.
Menifee leaders have rallied around Measure Q because they know it is the right choice for our community. Measure Q’s endorsers include the Menifee Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Boys and Girls Club of Menifee Valley, Riverside County Supervisor Marion Ashley, Riverside County Superintendent of Schools Kenneth Young, Menifee Union School District Board Member and Retired Sun City Postmaster Bob O’Donnell and many others. You can read the full list at www.QualityMenifeeSchools.org.
Measure Q is essential to providing the locally controlled funding that our schools need to continue to excel. Measure Q will appear near the end of your ballot, so don’t stop at the top! Remember to vote Yes on Measure Q with your mail ballot or at the polls on Nov. 8 to keep our schools and our community strong.

This is a very nice write-up. Why does it not say that the bond is for 135 MILLION DOLLARS? If it is such a good thing, why mislead people? Give all the information. No on Q.
