Election: Winter defeats Mann; Measures Q, DD pass

Neil Winter has defeated Scott Mann to be elected mayor of Menifee.

With all the precincts reporting, Winter received 11,223 votes -- 51.53 percent of the votes cast. Mann finished 667 votes behind with 10,556.

Measure DD, the 1 percent sales tax increase, was approved by voters by a wide margin, as was Measure Q, the school bond measure.
