The latest submission in our photo contest comes from Connie Downs, who sent us a photo along with this message:

"Good morning, Menifee!

"I left home about 8:30 this morning and came to a stop at Garbani Road. It's a good thing I did, since there was a traffic monitor there today!

"I thought others might appreciate seeing this red-tailed hawk. It was only 56 degrees, so he looked like he hadn't yet had his first cup of coffee."
