Heritage High School Athletes of the Week: Oct. 24

Each week, Menifee 24/7 honors top student-athletes at Heritage High School. The coach of each varsity sport is allowed to select one athlete based on the previous week's performances or on potential shown by the athlete. Here are the honorees from Heritage for the week of Oct. 24:

Cameron Dawson had two interceptions and one returned one for a touchdown in the football team's win over Perris Oct. 21.

Holden Scharer is one of the top players on the boys water polo team.

Golfer CJ Zulueta placed third in the Sunbelt finals and qualified for the first round of the CIF tournament.

First-year tennis player Arleny Ayon swept all three sets in a victory over Paloma Valley.
