Heritage High School Athletes of the Week

Each week, Menifee 24/7 honors top student-athletes at Heritage High School. The coach of each varsity sport is allowed to select one athlete based on the previous week's performances or on potential shown by the athlete. Here are the honorees from Heritage for the week of Oct. 17:

Tyree Morrow had a big catch early in the game to help the football team on its way to a 42-0 win over Elsinore Oct. 14.

Sophomore boys water player Cori Perez finished the week with 12 goals, second highest on the team. He also at that point had 12 assists (second highest) and 63 steals, leading the team.

Golfer Kayla Vinson shot a career-low 49 in a recent match against Elsinore.
