Eastern Municipal Water District holding open house

Eastern Municipal Water District will host a free open house event October 15, where customers may learn about the variety of services their water district offers.

The family friendly event will be held from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at EMWD’s headquarters, located at 2270 Trumble Road, Perris.

Throughout the event, guests may tour EMWD’s Demonstration Garden, learn about their water supply and water quality, learn about water-saving devices from a variety of vendors and even see some of EMWD’s heavy equipment fleet – such as a tractor and dump truck – up close.

EMWD staff from nearly every department will be on-site to answer questions, including those about water quality, conservation, customer service, wastewater and recycled water.

Children may take part in fun, with hands-on activities presented by EMWD’s Education Program. There will also be a variety of promotional items and water-efficient raffle prizes offered throughout the event.
