Each week, Menifee 24/7 honors top student-athletes at Heritage High School. The coach of each varsity sport is allowed to select athletes based on the previous week's performances or on potential shown by the athlete. Here are this week's Heritage High Athletes of the Week:

Senior defensive lineman Jeremiah Henderson had a sack and a blocked punt late in the game to help preserve the football team's 15-7 win over Redlands East Valley last Friday. Henderson has 10 solo tackles this season.

Amara Virgil has played consistently for the girls tennis team. "She is the absolute hardest worker on the court and one of the most improved players in the history of the school," said her coach, Monty McIntosh.
