Estella Cline honored with Outstanding Citizen Award

Menifee resident Estella Cline was honored by the Menifee City Council with an Outstanding Citizen Award this week for her volunteer humanitarian efforts in the city.

Cline is president of the board of directors of Inland Empire Habitat for Humanity, which builds homes for low-income families. She also has contributed greatly at the city's annual "Menifee Better Together" event, in which volunteers do yard work and house maintenance at residences in the Sun City community.

"It's great to know we have such wonderful people in Menifee," said council member Lesa Sobek, who proposed the Outstanding Citizen Award program that was approved by the council. "Estella really cares. When she meets the homeowners, she wants to know their story."
