'Bag of Books for a Buck' sale returns to library

The volunteers for the Friends of the Sun City Library are having a two-day book sale. The first day is a pre-sale for the FSCL members on Sept. 30 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The sale will be open for the general public on Oct. 1 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Over 3,500 books will be for sale in a variety of genres - fiction, nonfiction, children, VHS, DVDs, cassette tapes, etc. Bags will be provided by the volunteers.

Pick the bag ... fill the bag ... pay a buck.

There are no restrictions on how many bags of books you buy. We actually encourage it because the proceeds are contributed to the Sun City Library in order to provide service to the community via children and adult activities and the purchases of library equipment, books and supplies.

This two-day event will be held at the Sun City Library in the Community Room across from the Bookstore.
