National Night Out Brings Community, Police Together

National Night Out brought residents and public safety officials together Saturday night in Menifee's Wheatfield Park.

The annual event is designed to promote greater awareness of the resources offered by police and fire personnel and to foster unity between public safety organizations and the community they serve. In addition to demonstrations and display of police and fire equipment, there were bounce houses for the kids, vendor booths with information and crafts, and food available.
