MUSD Website Updates Info on Bus Transportation

Menifee Union School District officials are referring parents of local students to the district's website for updated information on eligibility for bus transportation and location of bus stops.

Some readers contacted Menifee 24/7 today with complaints about the service and scheduling provided by the district, which this year has contracted with Hemet Unified School District to provide bus service to Menifee. A spokesperson for MUSD today urged parents to refer to the district website for the latest information and to confirm bus stop locations and eligibility during the transition.

According to the MUSD website, bus transportation is free and no registration is required, but students must live more than 1.25 miles (grades K-5) or 2 miles (grades 6-8) from their school to be eligible to ride the bus.

When visiting the MUSD website here, click on the link to bus schedules on the left side of the home page. Then click on the blue WebQuery link and input the student's school and address to determine whether the student is eligible for bus transportation and what the bus schedule is.
