MUSD Parents May Review School Materials Until July 22

Menifee Union School District officials will hold a parent meeting on July 22 to receive input and discuss the adoption process regarding instructional materials proposed for the coming school year.

According to a news release, materials for public viewing include:

-- K-5 Integrated Literacy Units of Study, including English Language Arts/English Language Development, Next Generation Science Standards and History Social Science Standards.
-- 6-8 Mathematics Units of Study
-- 6-8 English Language Arts/English Language Development Units of Study.

The materials are available for a seven-day period ending July 22. They are available in room 26 of the District Office, 30205 Menifee Road, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The July 22 parent meeting will take place at 10 a.m. in room 26 of the District Office.
