Being outside the last few days hasn't been much fun -- unless you head for the beach or a local swimming pool.

Danielle Craghead sent us this shot of her son Landon taking a flying leap into a back yard pool in Menifee, finding a way to beat the heat that began on Saturday and approached 120 degrees in the area Monday.
