Menifee Fire Contained to Garage of Residence

Firefighters contained an early Monday morning fire to the garage of a home in Menifee, according to fire officials.

The fire was reported at 3:05 a.m. in the 23000 block of Casa Bonita Avenue, near Canyon Lake. The single-story residence was heavy with smoke and flames spreading, but firefighters were able to contain it to the garage within minutes.

No injuries were reported.
