Menifee Explorer Post 315 won two awards while representing the Riverside County Sheriff's Department Perris Station at the 2016 Law Enforcement Explorer Conference Competition, held June 11 in Las Vegas.

The competition is an annual event for law enforcement Explorers from around the country. A total of 46 posts from across the country competed. It is designed to teach Explorers team building and prepare them for a career in law enforcement.

Menifee Post 315 earned two fourth-place awards for Active Shooter and Crime Scene Response.
