Are you ready for Menifee's biggest fireworks show ever? It takes place this Saturday, July 2, when the city celebrates Independence Day a couple days early with a parade, festival and fireworks display at Wheatfield Park, corner of Menifee Road and La Piedra Road.
The celebration begins at 4 p.m. at Wheatfield Park and continues at 5 p.m. with a parade of local dignitaries and youth groups eastward on La Piedra Road from Mt. San Jacinto College to the park. Bring the kids to line the street and get ready for candy to be tossed to the little ones!
Following the parade, residents can browse through rows of vendors featuring food, crafts and other items from local businesses. An expanded Kids Zone will include an obstacle course, face painting, crafts and games. Bands will provide live entertainment, followed by the fireworks show.
Make your plans now to attend.
