One of Arts Council Menifee's most popular annual events featured the talents of local artists Saturday in the Menifee Arts Showcase.
Guests got the chance to view a variety of visual arts, including oil painting, wire sculpture, glass sculpture and more. There were also song and dance acts by area residents of all ages in the northwest corner of Countryside Marketplace.
Live performances were held on three stages between Chipotle and Breakfast Club. Musical acts included vocalist and saxophonist Kenneth Rice; singer and guitarist Tralain Roslyn; singers Greg Bowman, Rubein Macias and Kelly Mullins; and singing duo Kat and Steve Sanders. There were also poetry readings and appearances by local authors Bob White and George Gurney.
Bands included the two-man band of Kyle Wallis and Will Breglio (below) and the Crazy Creek Band. One of the highlights was the opera singing of 11-year-old Chelsea Doud, who performs in the video at the bottom of this article.
