Heritage High School Athletes of the Week: April 27

Each week, Menifee 24/7 honors top student-athletes at Heritage High School. The coach of each varsity sport is allowed to select athletes based on the previous week's performances or on potential shown by the athlete. Here are this week's Athletes of the Week:

Outfielder Aaron Torres has been one of the hottest hitters of late for the baseball team. He hopes to attend the University of La Verne next year and study law in addition to playing baseball.

Adrian Castle, the defending Sunbelt League singles champion, has a 24-0 league record and is 39-9 overall this season for the boys tennis team.

Kaila Gower of the girls track team set a school record in the shot put with a mark of 33-11 1/2 against Paloma Valley last week.

Boys track standout Aleva Hifo broke the school record in the 100 meters with a time of 10.83 against Paloma Valley.
