United Church of Christ Schedules Easter Sunrise Service

Menifee United Church of Christ will hold a 6:30 a.m. Sunrise Service in addition to its usual 10 a.m. worship service on Easter Sunday, March 27.

"I would just as soon sleep in on Easter Sunday, but the Bible tells us that Jesus rose early on that first Easter Sunday - thank God - so I guess I and others can, too," said Senior Minister Bill Freeman in a news release.

The Sunrise Service will be held outdoors in the church’s Peace Garden. The 10 a.m. Sunday service will take place as usual in the church’s sanctuary. Menifee UCC is located at 26701 McCall Blvd. in Menifee.
