Three Suffer Major Injuries When Car Crashes into Tree

Three people suffered major injuries Monday night in a single-vehicle collision on Bundy Canyon Road in Wildomar, authorities said today.

Riverside County Sheriff's deputies responded at 9:50 p.m. to the scene of the accident on Bundy Canyon Road just east of Oak Circle Drive, according to a news release. First responders found one occupant trapped inside the vehicle and two people on the ground outside the vehicle. All three were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

According to the preliminary investigation, the vehicle left the road and struck a tree. Bundy Canyon Road was closed for four hours Monday night between Oak Circle Drive and The Farm Road.
