Paloma Valley High Athletes of the Week: March 23

Each week, Menifee 24/7 honors top student-athletes at Paloma Valley High School. The coach of each varsity sport is allowed to select athletes based on the previous week's performances or on potential shown by the athlete. Here are this week's Paloma Valley High School Athletes of the Week:

Michael Orzech has excelled for the Wildcats boys volleyball team, which is 14-5 this season. He had the highest hitting percentage on the team last week and led the team in services aces as well.

"Michael has a great attitude and brings a positive energy to the court," said his coach, Katie Bradley.

Eric Smith of the boys golf team has posted consistently low scores and serves as team captain. He also maintains a 4.2 GPA.
