Paloma Wash serves its purpose as a flood control channel when necessary, but most of the time the channel running south from Newport Road just west of Haun Road is dry. In springtime, it's green and yellow with natural ground covering.

Danelle Dickstein captured this photo of the wash, showing the fence alongside the walking paths on its borders. Danelle becomes the final entry in our March "Menifee in Pictures" photo contest.

The March winner will be announced on Friday. To enter our April contest, email your photo to menifee247info@gmail.com
