The Theater Arts Department at Mt. San Jacinto College will present F. Scott Fitzgerald's "The Great Gatsby" April 14-17 in the Menifee campus theater.
Performances will take place at 7:30 p.m. the first three nights, with a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday, April 17. The play is adapted for the stage by Simon Levy and is directed by Carol Damgen.
The play is based on the 1925 novel, which defined the Jazz Age. According to a news release from MSJC, the play "explores a time of glamour and decadent excess while Jay Gatsby, a self-made millionaire, passionately pursues his elusive lost love, Daisy Buchanan."
