Kids racing to grab Easter Eggs, playing games at vendor booths, lining up for jumpers ... it all added up to a fun day at La Ladera Park Saturday in the annual City of Menifee Spring Fest.
Children were divided into three age groups and given the opportunity to collect plastic eggs containing candy, while others visited with the Easter Bunny. There were jumpers, a craft area and lots of games provided by local businesses in the vendor booth area.
Older children took part in a scavenger hunt. Prizes including candy, souvenir toys and live goldfish were up for grabs. Cynthia Nemelka of RE/MAX Diamond Realty brought baby chicks for the kids to hold.

Mayor Scott Mann, the entire City Council, city manager Rob Johnson and Robert Lennox, director of community services, welcomed the crowd at the start of the day. The event was open to families for three hours, and large crowds participated.
